My wife and I are saving this puzzle to do when our 13yo grandson comes to visit this summer. It looks like it will be really fun for us all to do together, including the scavenger hunt once the puzzle is complete. It reminds us of the “Where’s Waldo” pictures that our kids love in the 80’s. The puzzle quality is very good, not wood, but sturdy cardboard that is not too thin or cheesy like some puzzles we’ve gotten. The price seems a bit steep, but since this puzzle has the added scavenger hunt, it seems worth the money. Would recommend.

First off, the puzzle is really well made. The pieces are strong and fit well.
The real fun is the image. It has a lot of hidden details that make the puzzle twice as fun. You get a jigsaw and a search-and-find all in one. We spent more time on this puzzle because there was more to look at. The one thing I didn’t like was all the green spaces, but it more than made up for that.

The included poster is a must have since the picture on the box wraps around the sides and has other things printed on it. Sturdy box and pieces with no puzzle dust.

If you are someone who enjoys a challenging puzzle, this is a fun one! The level of detail is wonderful, and it makes you take close looks at the expressions on different characters’ faces, the way their shoes are pointing, etc. It is tough without being annoying or frustrating. I am making good progress on it and it feels like just the right pace. I love that I can step away from it for a while, and then go back and hunt for a handful of specific pieces without having to discern different shades of blue or other common puzzle frustrations. I would recommend this!

It arrives in the puzzle box I show in my pictures, which is also the same as they show in the listing pictures.
Inside of the box is the puzzle pieces that are in a plastic bag as well as a poster of the overall picture.
The puzzle pieces are cardboard but makes them much cleaner and easier to put together vs the wood puzzle pieces that I have had from other brands. The special thing about this puzzle is that after it’s finished being put together, you can have some extra fun by having a scavenger hunt for things inside of the finished picture. Or you can use the included poster for that if you didn’t want to wait or wanted another smoother view of it.
Overall, fantastic puzzle with an extra bit of fun at the end. It has all of the pieces and everything fits together quite nicely.

I really like the idea of a jigsaw puzzle with a “Where’s Waldo”-style search at the end. Unfortunately, this puzzle has a lot of issues, and despite the cartoony characters, I really don’t think this puzzle is a good idea for youngsters, or elderly people with eyesight issues.
Problem one: The detail in this puzzle is pretty tiny, making it hard to distinguish small differences that you’ll absolutely need to see to complete the puzzle, as well as the final hidden item hunt.
Problem two: This puzzle has a LOT of green. It seems like everything is swimming in a sea of green, which makes it really hard to see where to place specific pieces.
Problem three: What isn’t green is mostly a manilla yellow color, blending together sky and the many pathways snaking through the picture. Seriously, for a “space camp”-themed image, could they not have had a darker sky to emphasize the “space” theme and help differentiate sky from ground?
Problem four: Even within the many green and yellow pieces, you’ll find numerous pieces that are either completely or nearly completely devoid of identifying detail. I have an image I prepared highlighting a few of these, taken from a photo of the finished puzzle. See if you can figure out where in the puzzle they belong.
Problem five: The puzzle even features copy-pasted characters! It’s easy enough to mix up the similar cartoony characters here without having to contend with multiple instances of the exact same guy in the exact same pose. Also, how can you be so lazy that you couldn’t just doodle another guy there?
As a result of this, it took me, an adult, a full day to finish this puzzle, with the occasional assistance of others. And I’m not terrible at jigsaw puzzles, either.
In the end, I like the concept, I like the theme, and I even like the silly art style here, but I did not like this puzzle, and I particularly don’t think it’s suitable for the youngsters it’s largely meant for.

Make sure you look inside the box to find the scavenger hunt items to look for. The puzzle pieces aren’t huge or too small. Once the puzzle is finished, you can start the scavenger hunt. The puzzle itself is one of those drawings where something is going on in almost every part of the picture, so take your time and enjoy.

This puzzle has a great amount of detail which makes it interesting and fun to work. Standard-size pieces, one-fifth-size poster, virtually no dust, piece corners match up, NO cheat letters on the back. Pieces are thin but strong and go together easily, and separate fairly easily upon completion. Pieces hold together well enough to complete a section & relocate it in one piece. Once puzzle is complete you can attempt the enclosed scavenger hunt for various items appearing in the puzzle (key included). Intermediate level of difficulty.

I adore puzzles and enjoy putting them together. I work on my puzzle daily, and when completed I move on to my next puzzle challenge. It’s very therapeutic.
Unfortunately I get a bit tired of the scenic puzzles since there is usually a lot of 1 color. Be it sky… grass…. mountains…ocean etc.
My favorite ones are this type that depicts a fun and detailed scene. Each puzzle piece has something unique which makes it fun to locate on the picture.
The quality of this puzzle is exceptional. The pieces fit nicely and are durable.
The picture is fun and there is so much going on. It reminds me of where’s Waldo.
There is no puzzle dust at all and a poster is included. The puzzle is clear and colorful.

I think it is fun that there is a scavenger hunt after the puzzle is completed. I know my little boy will have fun with that as he has an eagle eye. He actually enjoys putting these puzzles together with me and for only being 3 years old, he has an amazing skill of finding which pieces go where. So it’s fun to be able to complete this with him.
This is an excellent puzzle and I highly recommend this to anyone that likes a fun challenge without being frustrating.

I loved putting this puzzle together. It was slightly challenging because there is a lot of green. There are also a lot of tiny details to pay attention to.
Not all jigsaw puzzles are created the same. This one is first class. It has excellent cuts. All the pieces interlock perfectly. There are no false fits. The cardboard is high quality. There were no peeling or broken pieces.

This is a challenging puzzle because (1) there are many areas of uniform light or dark green color, (2) those areas appear in many different places, so you don’t know whether a dark green color is at the top, bottom, sides or middle, and (3) the difficulty mentioned in point 2 is compounded by the fact that there are no region codes on the back of the pieces. Whether or not you like the design is a matter of personal taste–I think it’s OK but my wife likes it and thinks it’s cute. The quality of the pieces is fine and I thought the price was reasonable, so if you are looking for a difficult puzzle and like the design, I think it’s a good choice.

This is my favorite style of puzzle – multiple scenes and funny scenarios going on all over the place. This Space Camp Wilderness Adventure puzzle totally fits that bill bill and while I haven’t finished it, I am enjoying it very much. It’s really cute has a decent amount of action going on but It is a little harder than I expected. I didn’t think it would be easy since it’s a 1000 pieces, but there is A LOT of green going on. I am super happy with the quality of the pieces and the print and am looking forward to completing it. For reference I am under 100 and above 3 (not for children under 3) and I love challenging puzzles but I would hate to get an all black one – I’m very happy with this puzzle.

At first glance at this puzzle’s box, I was attracted to the whimsical nature of the scene, including many wonderful, quirky details. Upon opening the box, it was a pleasure to notice the absence of puzzle dust which is a nuisance of any other puzzle I have done.
The pieces themselves are of a fine quality regarding thickness, sturdiness and coating. They interlock well and i noticed no “false fits”.
Regarding a target market, I think this would definitely appeal to children if produced in larger, fewer pieces. The space theme is particularly current and, in that respect, adds further appeal to children.
The inclusion of the poster is a feature I find very helpful, and the scavenger hunt was a fun addition upon completion, although I had difficulty spotting the aliens even with the cheat sheet.
All said, I look forward to building this puzzle again and to seeing more puzzle offerings from Fluffy Puppy Games!

This puzzle was really cute and I had a fun time putting it together. I was really drawn to the cartoony look that reminded me of old school cell shaded cartoons. I really liked the style and was really excited to piece it together. The print quality of the image was crisp and clear. Each piece had a nice glossy finish and they all fit together snuggly. In addition to the joy of putting it together I also really appreciated all the cute little moments, scenes, and easter eggs scattered throughout. It reminded me of Where’s Waldo or an Eye Spy book. We picked this up as something of a “makeup” present after the first space-themed puzzle we picked up for our nephew proved to be hilariously underwhelming for him challenge-wise. Turns out he’s quite a little puzzle whiz, and a 75-piece extra big puzzle we’d originally gotten for him lasted all of about 10 minutes.
Facepalm.
To make up for it, we went back looking for a more significant challenge and this was perfect for him. It was a really nice step up in terms of a challenge and the kind of “Where’s Waldo?” nature of the Space Camp scene depicted in the puzzle provided some laughs when we were done as there’s quite a bit to take in.
The puzzle’s board quality was solid, the pieces are well cut and fit together nice and snug while still being easy to break down and put back in the box without any tearing. You wouldn’t think that would still be an issue in today’s world but lots of puzzle makers try to save a few bucks on materials and use cardboard that may as well just be thick construction paper.

A good challenge for kids aged 4-7, fun to look at once it’s done, and quality materials all make this a great value for under $20 (at the time of review).

This puzzle was really fun and different. First off there are no cheat codes on the back, which I love. The puzzle pieces are unique shapes and fit together just right – not too tight, not to loose. When a piece fits, it’s obvious that it fits (Not like those annoying puzzles with pieces all the same shape and pieces that shouldn’t fit that do fit and the only way you an tell it’s wrong is to turn it over and look at the letters on the back. Obviously, I hate those puzzles).
This puzzle was super unique because of the design. It literally was like a scavenger hunt. You have to use the poster/picture to put it together. I had such fun picking out a puzzle piece then hunting for the placement in the big picture, “okay, who’s head is in the road”? or “who’s leg is in front of a light green tree”? My only complaint is one piece was missing and I’m 80% sure it wasn’t my fault.
